The Lansing Community College (LCC) Comics Coalition (LC4)

Adventures in Sequential Art Comic

The students of the LC4 were hired IN 2004 to create a comic BOOK designed to promote the new sequential art degree offered through LCC.

The book features nine STUDENT-artist's work and each of us appear as characters in the book. In it we explain to a couple of interested students the basics of the degree and the benefits of being a member of the LC4.

in MARCH 2005 the book WAS distributed to THE ART CLASSES OF NUMEROUS Michigan high schoolS IN the hopes of attracting interested students to this extremely rare degree.


cURRENTLY, lESS THAN HALF A DOZEN cOLLEGES IN THE COUNTRY OFFER A DEGREE IN THEIS FEILD, making LCC a great boon to those seeking guidance and training in this challenging and demanding profession.

Naturally, the students of the LC4 and the staff of the LCC visual arts and media dept are eager to see this special program receive as much attention as possible, hence the creation of this book.

Seriously, this was a great project that turned out beautiful!
