Salvia Divinorum is one of those rare psychedelics that’s actually legal in the U.S.—at least in most states. It’s a wild—though brief—ride…and one that played an influential role in my life some years back.
This green, leafy wonder is currently being considered for it’s potential therapeutic uses, treating such things as drug addictions, chronic pain and manic depression, as you’ll hear in the report.
The great thing about Salvia is its temporary effects—lasting only a couple minutes per dosage—making it an excellent means for experimenting with altering one’s perception of reality and exploring some of the deeper mysteries of the mind without a major [time] commitment.
I found the experience to be quite revelatory, but for anyone who hasn’t already experimented with other psychedelics I highly recommend doing your homework before cavalierly diving into this particular pool—it may be deeper than you’re ready for.
Lastly, like many who work with such substances, I treat such experiences as sacred journeys, which is something I would urge for anyone considering such ventures. For any mature, responsible adults prepared to experience something thoroughly otherworldly, you won’t be disappointed.
