How will my contribution be spent?

Initially, any funds received by Archetypal Images (A.I.) will be devoted to the minimal overhead demanded by the creative process. In other words, lights, heat, phone bills, rent, art supplies, research, internet expenses and the like. Additional expenses such as as advertising/marketing and printing would logically follow. Essentially, any funds donated to A.I. will be used exclusively for the purposes of creative pursuit and nothing more.

Do you receive the full amount of my donation?

Technically, no. There is a nominal 6% fee that Fractured Atlas charges to cover processing fees, but other than that the sum of your contribution is reserved solely for the business needs of Archetypal Images.

What is the Matching Gift Program, and how does it work?

Some employers participate in what is known as a Matching Gift Program, whereby they will match any donation you make to a non-profit, such as Fractured Atlas—effectively doubling your donation! Please check with your employer to see if they participate in such a program—if so, then simply contact me or Fractured Atlas directly to let us know. Fractured Atlas will then contact your employer and work with them to arrange for the donation to be processed.

Can Monthly Donations be handled by check?

If you would like to make a contribution by check on a monthly basis that will of course work fine, though Fractured Atlas is not able to establish an automatic withdrawal unless it is initiated using a credit card via their online donation form.

Can I donate services or equipment?

Totally. Fractured Atlas can accept non-cash donations of physical items in behalf of A.I. If you have an item you would like to donate you will need to send a letter (or email) to Fractured Atlas, describing the item, estimating its value, and clearly stating that the item is being donated “to Fractured Atlas, in behalf of Archetypal Images”.

If you’re interested in volunteering your services, this may not be tax deductible—but would always be appreciated!

Will A.I. be generating its own income?

The goal is to reach a point where the business is running under its own steam, generating an income from the sales of books and related merchandise. A revised business plan is in the works and will be made available soon. Of course, A.I. will always gladly accept the assistance of others, but it is our intention to be capable of thriving independent of such need.

How many people does Archetypal Images Employ?

At this time, A.I. employs only its owner/operator, Eric Wilmoth. Plans are in development to bring in other talent, such as colorists, web designers and other specialists as resources allow. Naturally, the more sponsorship A.I. receives, the more we can accomplish.
